Test Post: Just a picture with Aperture Priority

While key to a good picture is the subject, good understanding of basic principles of photography and camera controls help to capture the subject accurately. Clicking a static object is an easy exercise but choosing the right settings can  provide desired details.

Though Orange Juice is a mundane subject, attempt here is to capture the details i.e. shape, style and lines of the glass with pulp in the orange juice. Background is almost masked out. Setting used in the camera:-

  • f/5.6
  • Exposure Time: 1/60
  • Focal Length : 49mm
  • Flash Used
